At North Shore Center of Dental Health, we don’t want the cost of dental care to get in the way of getting the treatment you need. We offer flexible payment options and accept many insurance plans to make your care more accessible.
Insurance
We are not DMO or HMO providers, but we are in-network with some PPO plans, including

- Assurant PPO
- United Healthcare PPO
- Cigna PPO
- Lincoln Financial PPO
- Beam PPO
We are happy to file your insurance claims for you and will work to ensure you receive the maximum benefit available. We can file insurance claims with all other PPO providers, even out-of-network.

Payment is due at the time of treatment. We accept:

In-Office Financing
For smaller treatment plans, we offer interest-free, in-house financing. You can set up a monthly payment that fits your budget—no credit check required, just a bank account or credit card.
Third-Party Financing
For larger treatment plans, we offer financing through Sunbit and CareCredit, which provide low-interest, flexible monthly payment options. Applications are easy to complete online, and we’re happy to guide you through the process.
Membership Club
For patients without dental insurance, our Membership Club offers preventive care and discounts on treatment, helping you maintain your dental health affordably.

Even if you brush and floss daily, it may not be enough to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Plaque and bacteria can build up in places that you have missed. Scheduling a professional dental cleaning every six months allows us to remove hard deposits, keeping your teeth clean and healthy. We can also monitor your teeth and gums to ensure that any areas of concern can be treated early.
In addition to Invisalign invisible braces or a cosmetic dentistry procedure such as porcelain veneers, we offer lingual braces. These braces are placed behind the teeth and they are an excellent option for people who may not be good candidates for Invisalign but who are worried about esthetics. Lingual braces are virtually invisible, and Dr. Metelka is one of very few dentists who are certified in lingual orthodontics.
